The Victorian building is 150 years old and is perfectly positioned within easy travelling distance to local wineries, galleries, outdoor adventure activities and local attractions.In summer the French doors open to sunny garden area where you can relax by the fountain or be toasty in winter with the indoor fire. Enjoy a free game of pool and darts or try your luck in the gaming lounge. You'll never be short of a friendly welcome and the locals can share a few tales or two!An all day menu is available for light snacks, but come evening our hearty home style cooking will be sure to satisfy - with nothing priced over $20. All meals are generously sized and you can choose to dine in the restaurant or in the courtyard surrounded by native trees. Upstairs we have seven comfortable accommodation rooms which sleep up to 12 people and with bed and breakfast options available, very affordable. With over 30 years hospitality experience, Bruce and Wayne are remembered fondly by all those who have experienced their hospitality in New Zealand, Australia, Brittan & Ireland.Come and experience it for yourself. Good food, great service in a grand old fashioned country pub. A courtesy coach is available to passengers who arrive by train and the Hotel is fitted with wireless broadband internet.Greytown Hotel is proudly community owned.
