  Whitianga Home Furnishing has new owners Andrew and Nanette Gorton taking over the business August 2006 with previous owner Gaye Hart who stayed on to be one of the team.Andrew knows all facets of the window dressing industry inside out from supply, manufacture to installation. Andrew's experience in the industry is extensive starting off as a production supervisor for Luxaflex blinds for 3 years then taking on an opportunity to train at Lahood Window Furnishings regarded as one of Auckland's best in the industry. Then he progressed to become a self employed installation specialist working for a number of interior designers as well Lahoods, Harvey Furnishings, Spotlight stores and is well regarded in the Auckland market He has been involved in the industry almost14 years. Andrew takes care of all Whitianga Home Furnishings installation work as well as the measure & quoting along with Gaye"It's my name on the line. The final installation is the big deal," he said.
