Write a reviewThe Hagley Tramping Club was originally formed by staff at Christchurch Hospital and until 2007 was known as the Hospital Tramping Club In 2007 the club's name changed to the Hagley Tramping Club to better reflect the current membership and promote the club as being open to all Our day tramps have 4 main departure points, these include the Christchurch Hospital EYE Outpatient Department in St Asaph Street, the Yaldhurst Hotel, the Belfast Tavern and Halswell School We encourage prospective new members to experience 2 or 3 trips with us before joining the club Over the decades the membership gradually drifted away from Hospital staff until, by 2006, the link was lost and we no longer had any club members who worked at the Hospital
