This is an Ayurvedic skin care recipe you can make yourself for oily skin, using aromatherapy oils. CLEANSE Mix one teaspoon of barley meal, with one a teaspoon of lemon peel, half a teaspoon of dried milk.Store in a small jar.In your palm, make a paste using quarter of a teaspoon of cleanser and warm water.Apply paste all over your face and neck.Gently massage into the skin for one minute. Do not scrub. rinse well with warm water. Do not dry. NOURISH Mix 30 mls of sunflower oil, with 10 of lavender essential oil and 5 drops each of bergamot and clary sage oil.Store in a dark glass bottle with a dropper.In your palm, mix 2 drops of nourishing oil plus 4 drops of water.Apply paste all over your face and neck.While your skin is still wet, gently massage the mixture all over your face and neck skin for one minute. MOISTURISE Melt 45 grams of cocoa butter in a double boiler.Add 90 mls of almond or safflower oil.Remove from heat.Using a dropper add 60 mls of rosemary or basil tea*- one drop at a time, while stirring the mixture.When it is cool, add 1 drop of camphor oil, 2 drops of bergamot oil, and 3 drops of lavender essential oil.Gently apply a very small amount of this moisturising cream over the surface of the face and neck.DO NOT MASSAGE it into the skin.Apply once in the morning, and once in the evening.
