Write a reviewFounded in Santa Monica, California in 1965, Wilderness Fly Fishers is one of the oldest fly fishing clubs in the Los Angeles area Each year the women and men of Wilderness Fly Fishers pursue their sport from Alaska to Argentina and from New Zealand to Newfoundland We also do a lot of fly fishing in Southern California, from the surf in nearby Santa Monica Bay to the local pristine trout streams tucked away in the Los Padres and Angeles National Forests Often our members are enjoying fly fishing vacations won in either our spring Conservation Super Auction or our holiday Conservation Super Raffle! Based in Santa Monica, our club draws members from the Greater Los Angeles area including West LA, the South Bay and the Valley
