  Set in a lush subtropical garden in the heart of Waiheke Island, Kauri Springs Lodge is a unique venue with plenty of rustic charm. The Lodge is an accommodation and event space that's perfect for corporate meetings, private functions, weddings, retreats or as an idyllic holiday residence for family and friends. We offer a choice of indoor and outdoor spaces for your function, a soundproof dance area with an in-built sound system, on-site catering, bar staff and security, and complete venue set-up including furniture, linen and party wares to make your function run with ease and style. The Lodge is an idyllic venue for functions up to 120 guests. The venue comprises two private homes - the Lodge House and the Guest House - that accommodate up to 22 guests over in nine bedrooms. Each with a fully-equipped lounge and kitchen, allowing guests to be completely self-contained. Guests will enjoy exclusive use of the Lodge facilities as well as its outdoor features. A network of prettily planted paths winds its way through the property's beautifully landscaped gardens that also includes a Balinese-style saltwater spa pool. Entertaining areas include an outdoor garden bar, the large Atrium complete with stone fireplace and pizza oven, the stylish Solarium with its heated concrete floors and soundproof walls, and a courtyard space. Designed with flexibility in mind, these spaces can be transformed to suit large or more intimate functions. The private setting provides a relaxed atmosphere for an unforgettable gathering. We offer in-house catering by some of Waiheke's caterers so guests enjoy a quality culinary experience during their stay. For a more casual affair, a barbecue and wood-fired pizza oven is a good choice. Our kitchen is fully equipped, should you choose to use your own caterer or self-cater. As a licensed BYO venue, guests can bring their own beverages, and best of all, we do not charge corkage. Kauri Springs Lodge is more than just a venue.
