Two Wellington sisters, Antoinette Muollo-Aharoni and Justine Muollo, cooked up the idea of the Gingerbread House Challenge last year as a fun way to bring Wellington families together for Christmas and raise money for a good cause. All Blacks Piri Weepu and Cory Jane launched the return of the popular Prime Hotels Gingerbread House Challenge at Wellington Children's Hospital on Thursday 17th November.


100 Years of Child Health » WHHF

The Child Health service in the greater Wellington region now receives more than 32,000 visits every year by sick children from as far as Hawke's Bay, across to Taranaki and south to Nelson/Marlborough. All 18 tiles are still on display in the children's hospital building and in the corridor link between said building at the new Wellington Regional Hospital.

This is the 3rd year that the Pumas Sevens team have visited the children's hospital, in a visit organised between the Foundation and the Embassy of the Republic of Argentina in New Zealand. His Excellency, the Pumas and the Embassy in New Zealand are great supporters of the children's hospital and their visits always delight families on the wards.
