For the 2016 NZ Festival, we created a show called The Woman Who Forgot, an immersive theatre project built around a bespoke innovative smartphone app to immerse our participants in the story of how she recovers her memories and rediscovers who she is. Participants find their way around the city, interacting with live actors, locations, and the general public on their journey through the show which is played to them through headphones via the app. The technology was specifically developed for the Festival but can be adapted to suit any city or any location. Following its success at the NZ Festival it is being redeveloped for other overseas festivals.
