Other products and services from Ngaio Medical Centre

Services | Ngaio Medical Centre

The practice has a disproportionately high number of children and a computerised immunization register is kept by the practice nurses. The practice is connected to the Afterhours Medical Centre. Dr Tim Halpine, also works here as a podiatrist.

Lab/Test Results | Ngaio Medical Centre

Different doctors do this in different ways - for instance, some write a note regardless of whether a result is negative or positive while others just action positive results - with the understanding that the patient is invited to telephone themselves. It is Ngaio Medical Centre policy that the doctor who orders a test, is responsible for actioning or managing the result.

Vaccinations & Immunisations | Ngaio Medical Centre

All childhood routine vaccinations as per the National Immunization Schedule are carried out by the Practice Nurses. It is necessary to wait in the Centre twenty minutes post vaccination. All children are automatically put on an immunisation recall system. An appointment is necessary with the doctor prior to vaccination. In some instances vaccines may need to be ordered in.
