Indemnity Insurance

New Zealand Nurses Organisation provides Professional Indemnity Insurance for all our members - we are here to provide you with legal representation and advocacy during formal investigations. The current Accident Compensation Corporation scheme means that generally health practitioners cannot be sued for compensation. Some employers hold an indemnity insurance policy and say that it will provide cover.


How to subscribe

Kai Tiaki Nursing Research will be a subscription only journal showcasing New Zealand nursing research. As of February 2011 retail subscription rates for Kai Tiaki Nursing New Zealand for non-members are. NZNO members receive Kai Tiaki Nursing New Zealand as part of their membership benefits package. Legal and professional advice and assistance with employment contract negotiations.


KTNNZ Continuing Professional Development

Continuing professional development is a new initiative launched in the February 2011 issue of Kai Tiaki Nursing New Zealand. She is passionate that nurses’ practice should be supported by up-to-date and relevant scientific knowledge. The articles of up to 5000 words will be written or supplied by clinical nurse educator Georgina Casey.


Journals - Kai Tiaki

Kai Tiaki covers professional and industrial issues facing nurses and other health workers around the country, records major NZNO initiatives, profiles different practice areas and informs members of current health policy issues. Kai Tiaki Nursing New Zealand is the New Zealand Nurses Organisation's monthly magazine, in print since 1908 and posted directly to over 46,000 NZNO members.
