Testing needs to be a value add service within the SDLC.  Therefore we are continually looking at collaborative ways of working with business, design, development and architecture groups to ensure that testing is efficient and cost effective.

Providing the business with a test approach and coverage options is all part of a service that allows the business to make an informed decision of the amount of testing to be undertaken based on the risk profile.

Where feasible we adopted an inside-out approach to test.  This means lifting the hood on a solution.  Having resources that come from a development background allows us to build up understanding and confidence in each component before integrating into an end to end solution.  We believe this approach is cheaper and improves quality by allowing testing to be conducted earlier, increasing coverage and reducing the common delays associated with integration.

Adopting this approach early means that when change is introduced targeted testing at a component level can be undertaken. This can significantly reduce the overall regression test effort and costs going forward.

We work in a niche area within the broad spectrum of tested solutions to provide depth of knowledge to our customers in middleware and B2B implementations.  Providing targeted integration testing services aimed at infrastructure, application deployment, message level interaction and source to target data migrations.
