'What about parts?' I hear you ask. 'I need to make sure we hold enough spare parts through-out the year.'
Parts management is simple for your maintenance team, they just record the parts used on each job and the system takes care of the rest.
Our INVENTORY module is where you record parts, their costs, their prices and minimum holdings required. It is where you input stock takes and move items between stores. The Inventory module is where you see how parts are used and when they will be required.
Some of your parts may be assemblies of other parts (for example: a gearbox unit may be a gearbox, motor, drive and mount). Recording each of these lets you easily manage the assembly and use of each part. (A job will use a 'gearbox unit', assembled in-house.)
You may wish to use our PURCHASING module to, well, manage your purchases. Integrated with our Inventory module, this lets you see which parts you have coming in and when they are expected. You always know what's going on.
