No matter how you’d like your family, friends and associates to celebrate your life, and no matter what you’d like your legacy to be, Curtain Calls works for you to make your wishes happen. We’ll take care of memorial event management, as well as the details surrounding funeral and end-of-life arrangements.
You can either become a full Curtain Call member with round the- clock access to our services, or simply consult us as you need to. Whichever you choose, all you have to do is imagine the possibilities – then allow us to plan the rest.
Planning and logistics
We offer a comprehensive funeral pre-planning service, including sourcing and co-ordinating quality suppliers and venues internationally, providing costing, contracts and documentation.
Because we know it may be hard to talk about planning for your death, particularly if you have complex family situations, Curtain Call can facilitate family discussions so that everyone understands and respects your wishes.
Curtain Call can work with any faith or culture and ensure your personal wishes are carried out.
No matter what form you’d like your send-off to take, our full planning service for internment and special events will ensure that all the arrangements are made. And when it comes to scattering ashes, your imagination’s the limit – you might like to be scattered at sea or from the air, via pyrotechnics or even space flight. Or, working with our Swiss partner, we are able to make diamonds of up to one carat from ashes or locks of hair.
We’ll inform people of your death, and organise repatriation if required. We’ll also make sure funeral notices and prewritten obituaries are placed internationally according to your specifications, manage media and arrange security if need be.
Not only do we take care of immediate concerns, we also look to the future. We can arrange philanthropic activities, biographical films, portraiture and statues. Additionally, we can organise storage of letters, mementos and gifts in our vaults for distribution at a time in the future that you specify.
While Curtain Call specialises in pre-planning, there are occasions where we can assist clients with creating meaningful events after someone has died. This could be appropriate if you feel a family member wasn’t adequately celebrated, or wish to meaningfully scatter the ashes of a loved one.
As the world expert in high-end funeral pre-planning, Curtain Call founder and CEO Clare Keenan is available to address groups, clubs and families regarding end-of-life planning. Audiences can be informed of the latest options and possibilities, develop plans and get other advice.
“I want a fairly traditional church funeral with a party afterwards at the winery. One of my daughters is a winemaker, and she’ll be in charge of the food and wine matching. I’m having a pyrotechnics display, and my favourite local band playing. I’m making sure that those close to me who live overseas aren’t burdened with the cost of short-notice flights to return home for the funeral. I’ve also put aside letters and gifts for my youngest girl’s 21st birthday and wedding, so that if I can’t be there, she’ll know I thought ahead to these special occasions.”
