Eltham Massey Ferguson enthusiast Malcolm Pease puts to good use his hobby of fixing up old tractors and sending them to needy communities overseas.

For 20 years he has reconditioned Fergies, sending 16 overseas, mainly to the Pacific, also as far as Tanzania.

"We work on a basis of anyone who wants one, we'll help to find it for them, or we'll research the whole job and follow it through," Pease says.

"Basically we work with the older Fergie tractors, the less complicated the better, the less to go wrong; that's the main thing."

With its beaches, tropical climate, and warm, friendly people, Fiji is more than just a holiday destination, it’s an ideal place to learn to minister to people of diverse cultural backgrounds and get a feel of mission in a supportive and safe environment. Many people are raised in a culturally Christian society where going to church is a norm and what you believe and what you live are not necessarily related.

Our Church through the NZ Church Missionary Society and Anglican Missions supports over 40 Mission Partners around the worlds in fields such as health, education, evangelism & bible translation, and we’ve been doing that for many years. We need to make sure that all those who are in the Mission Field now, are preparing to go, or who are responding to this calling can be properly supported financially as they work in the Mission Field.
