Skin Needling The purpose of this treatment is to stimulate the body’s own collagen production to reduce the visible appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, stretch marks, skin laxity and scarring, such as that caused by acne or chicken pox. It has also been successfully applied to the indication of hair restoration in cases of alopecia. Medical Skin Needling, also referred to as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) and Micro-Needling, is considered to be a relatively new concept within the plethora of aesthetic treatment options available for skin rejuvenation. Skin Needling is an effective alternative to Ablative Laser Skin Resurfacing The more aggressive Ablative Laser Skin Resurfacing, involves burning the superficial layer of the skin, resulting in redness, swelling, discomfort and a long recovery/healing time of six weeks or more. Many clients find the recovery time and aggressive nature of Ablative Laser Skin Resurfacing too intrusive, despite the treatment giving outstanding results. Skin Resurfacing by skin needling is our alternative to Ablative Laser Skin Resurfacing. It is more akin to Fractional laser resurfacing and it is just as effective at a fraction of the cost. Other advantages include: Can be performed on all skin colours, including very dark skin Close to nil down time There is no damage to the skin It can be used on thin skin Outstanding results

Photo Rejuvenation

Photo Rejuvenation This treatment is for clients who would like to look a few years younger. Which is probably most of us! Wrinkles are a natural part of ageing and form in part, because the supportive components of the skin i.e. elastin, collagen and hyaluronic acid, degrade as we get older. Although much research has been directed at understanding why this happens, it is still a mystery.
