The Fat Trap

To avoid a blocked drain, open your little Fat Trap! A Fat Trap is a 500 ml, blue plastic tub. Keep it on the kitchen work-surface between the stove and the sink. Pour your used cooking Fat, Oil or Grease (FOG) into a Fat Trap, not down the sink. Handy, easy to use, looks neat, helps protect the environment. When full, empty into a throwaway bottle, and clean your Fat Trap for re-use. FOG is the main cause of drain blockages. FOG can kill bacteria in septic tanks, stopping them working.
