Challenge Me™ is about encouraging and supporting you to develop
good habits which will positively impact on your life. This is a team
based challenge with a personal impact!
This unique workplace challenge introduces your staff to the
benefits of setting small and simple goals to bring about lifestyle
changes, specifically in the areas of:
- Nutrition (EAT)
- Exercise (MOVE)
- Lifestyle (LIVE)
Each team member selects one challenge from the three challenge
areas: EAT, MOVE and LIVE. Challenges are available for a range of
levels allowing anyone to get involved regardless of their current
health and fitness. A Lifestyle Audit consisting of a series of
questions in regards to an individual’s current habits is available to
assist individuals with their challenge choice.
Working in small teams Challenge Me™ participants strive to achieve
each of their EAT, MOVE and LIVE challenges as often as they can, to
accumulate points for their team. The social support of team members
keeps individuals focussed and helps drive personal motivation.
It takes time to form a new habit. The recommended length for
Challenge Me™ is 4 weeks – just perfect. You and your team will be asked
to achieve your challenges for 5 days each week. This allows for the
odd muck up, after all it’s what you do 80% of the time that counts for
your health and wellbeing.
Vitality Works can flexibly administer Challenge Me™ at your
workplace. Not only do we manage all aspects of the program, we support
and motivate participants throughout the challenge, helping them to
improve their personal health and wellbeing. Staff from different
regions and even countries can complete the Challenge Me™ together.
