Rental housing

We recognise the complexities of property management and offer a range of services, including:

  • portfolio management – aligning investment to corporate objectives
  • rental management – collection of rent and payment of contractors
  • maintenance management – ensuring property values are protected
  • leasing and new tenancy management – finding new tenants and establishing lease agreements.

Building and facilities management

Our expertise lies in establishing and managing maintenance contracts for buildings and facilities, and managing building refurbishment and new building work projects.

Currently we manage and implement all facilities maintenance contracts and projects for Hutt City Council.  This portfolio is diverse and covers libraries, public toilets, halls, civic buildings, community houses and commercial buildings. We have a rigorous management process that ensures compliance with current building legislation.

Bell Road housing development and refurbishment

The addition of the four new units is the first step towards increasing the number of social housing units provided by urbanplus in Lower Hutt from 187 to 210. WelTec is managing the building work on site for us and WelTec students are constructing the new units and helping to refurbish the existing homes. Hutt City Mayor David Ogden talks to Dave Tuari one of the WelTec students about the finer points of house building.

Korohiwa land development

The site is approximately two kilometres away from the Eastbourne village, which contains general amenities for residents and is a fifteen minute drive to central Lower Hutt. We are developing 3,147 square metres of general residential land at Korohiwa for sale in five lots. The land will be put up for sale after we have completed remediation work on the site in early 2010.

Summit Road

A Hutt City Council plant nursery, recently downsized, abuts the Lot to the south and Laura Fergusson Trust has recently purchased the northern Lot earmarked for development purpose-built premises in the upcoming future.
