From the 22rd to 24th February, Trinity Church held a youth camp at Ngaruawahia CYC – about 60 mins drive south of Auckland. 65 youth from Takanini plus a few from other churches along with 30 adults. The camp enjoyed a great atmosphere, great music and fun was had by all.
The theme of the camp was “Living it”, i.e. living the gospel in a community, homes, schools that may not be supportive of living for Christ. Dan Willis, Steve Panapa, Mark Young, and Dwaine Faletanoai were the speakers and all did a fantastic job. On Saturday evening guest Naomi Bradfield shared her spiritual testimony, followed by some musical items by the “In laws” and then Pastor Cliff from Otara Cornerstone Church preached a powerful message on the conversion of Paul. This message had a strong effect on the hearts of many of the youth.
A big thank-you to all in Trinity and friends of Trinity who willingly contributed so much to make this a wonderful, blessed time together. Pray for the messages preached to be remembered and that spiritual fruit will be seen as a result.
