Here at Timbercore we can provide rural buildings that range from barns to grain sheds. Our rural buildings range in span size from 6 to 60 metres.

Cutting Edge Engineering Technology:

Our farming community is at the forefront of technology and innovation in all aspects of agriculture, and so are we. At Timbercore we apply the latest engineering and technological advances to our buildings. One example of our technological advances is our use of Structural Laminated Timber, a benefit received from its application is the superior strength to weight ratio it provides.

Home Grown Timber:

Our building’s timber is 100% New Zealand grown. Agriculture plays a leading role and is crucial to the success of New Zealand’s economy. By only using New Zealand timber we believe we are supporting the New Zealand economy.

DIY Construction:

Our kitsets are designed to make D.I.Y. easy, from the planning stage right through to the construction process. Our buildings come with all the things you will need to build a strong barn, shed or shelter.

Sustainable:

Our timber is sustainable and energy efficient. It requires a 1/10 less energy than alternatives, such as steel and concrete, to produce. The growth and production of one net tonne of timber absorbs a net 1.7 tonnes of C02 from the atmosphere compared to the production of one tonne of steel which emits 1.2 tonnes of C02 into the atmosphere.

Hygienic Environment:

With our buildings straight sides and flush joints on all framing there are no ledges or cavities for dust, dirt, or birds to settle, leaving a clean and hygienic environment.

Rural buildings we can build:

• Wintering Barns
• Grain Storage
• Workshops
• Covered Yards
• Fertilizer Storage
• Machinery Storage
