IANZ welcomes new and returning students!

Welcome and congratulations on your acceptance to The International Academy of New Zealand. Now that you are accepted as bona fide student, you become one of the members of IANZ learning community with all its rights and corresponding responsibilities.

We want you to feel that you belong to IANZ learning community – to share your views, culture, foods and language. Let us know who you are and your needs. Get involved in various activities and services that we offer throughout the year. We are here to support you in your studies and help ease you into student life.

As a new student at IANZ, you are bound to have questions. The student orientation programme is designed around you, helping to uncover the answers to the questions you have, and providing you information about campus resources, programmes and services. By the time you leave orientation, you’ll be on your way to becoming a successful IANZ student.

The student orientation is an opportunity for you to learn how to navigate campus and will introduce IANZ learning community. During the orientation you will begin to build a network of resources that will help you to start your IANZ journey on the right path.

The student orientation will focus on the following: •Overview of the Academy •Housekeeping •Health and Safety •Rules and Regulations •Overview of NZQA •Pastoral Care Policy •Overview of the Programme •Complaints and Appeals Procedures and •Student Support Services.

Additionally, during the orientation each student will have a one-on-one discussion with our Guidance Counsellor and Employment Adviser. Come to the program with your questions about what it means to be a member of IANZ learning community! Be prepared to meet new people, and to make new friends, orientation is your chance to show everyone that you are ready.
