      Spear-fishing and Free-diving

 Josh Speeden

A BOP local with over 15 years experience free-diving around New Zealand and the pacific Islands.
A super keen fisherman and free-diver, always keen to get in the water.
Josh loves to target big Kingis and has plenty of tricks up his sleeve, as well as the right gear to get the fish out of the water and into the boat. Josh is a firm believer in putting food on the table and a source of good advice for how to cook the fish that you catch.
Whatever your free-diving requirements, Josh is happy to help, give advice and watch you in the water. He has a lot of gear for spares/use to make sure you get to stay in the water if something fails.
Safety is paramount in this very dangerous sport and a capable experienced buddy diver is a huge part of this. Where there are fish, there can be sharks and keeping a cool head is important.
Josh could be part of a lifetime experience free-diving in some of the amazing spots we have around the bay. You gotta be in to win!
