A key aspect to our philosophy is the strong exercise based practice. We use our exercise practice in a number of ways, apart from the obvious positive effects of stress management, strength, power , endurance gains, weight management. We use exercise to reconnect the body so that it can control itself with movement and reduce its level of pain. The team here works on a one on one capacity teaching each individual what their strengths and weakness are with ﬂexibility, strength and functional movement. We work from the ground up making sure that all areas of the core are active and able to hold the limbs to begin and sustain safe pain free functional movement. We enjoy this work with our client base because it all allows us to promote and motivate people to live a healthier,happier, pain free active lives.
As physiotherapists we have the skills to apply sports science and biomechanical principles. We use these skills to teach and address the heart of the injury from the basics of learning how to walk and get out of a chair properly to driving a forehand down the line or shaving a few extra seconds of your sprint times.No matter what the issues are we can help you.
We have access to a superb weight training facility ,tennis court, swimming pool and natural arena to maintain variety, functionality and speciﬁcity to our training regimes. We are patient about achieving ﬁtness and rehabilitation goals and relish in our training environment.
We also work with a range of personal trainers and ﬁtness professionals located around the Auckland area. We have strong relationships with theses professionals and also recognizes the importance of communication with these individuals. If you all ready are working with a personal trainer or exercise professional we can also work with your team and provide information and guidance to them on what are the doos and don'ts with your current issues are and ways to continue working on your ﬁtness regime.
