Peer Advocate and Support Service: Are one to one support services aimed at advocating the rights of Tangata Whaiora, resolving short term difficulties and reducing stressful situations. Whaiora come to this service just by hearing about us, or through a referral from other Providers or clinical agencies. Like Minds like Mine Service: Are creative presentations designed and produced by a team of story tellers who pass on messages and stories around discrimination. The most suitable days for presentations are Mondays or Tuesdays and for any other day we need plenty of notice in advance. The mahi of the team is aimed at bringing awareness of mental illness to the community.
