Spanbild launches Barnhouse
Local steel-building expert, Totalspan has launched a new concept in lifestyle living, with the introduction of the Totalspan Barnhouse.
A unique Kiwi take on the classic American-style Heritage barn, the Barnhouse range provides everything required to create a country-inspired home – with personality, charm and style at a fantastic price.
Totalspan general manager Leon Skylakis says the Barnhouse concept was developed in response to strong demand across New Zealand for a lifestyle or rural home based on the classic Heritage barn design.
“Our in-house design team has come up with four unique styles, combining spacious family living and contemporary country styling, created to appeal to anyone wanting to enjoy the best of Kiwi country life,” says Leon Skylakis.
And whether you dream is a half-acre or a hundred hectares, our Barnhouse range can be customised to suit your needs – as a working farm homestead, a relaxed seaside holiday home, a distinctive lifestyle property, or an expansive family home.”
Mr Skylakis says each of the four Barnhouse designs can be developed to suit, with the open steel structure providing the space and flexibility to create the ideal lifestyle home.
“Popular features of all the designs are the large open plan living areas, the focus on family living – with special attention on the kitchen area as the heart of the country residence, the two levels with mezzanine options, and – as is an absolute priority in any rural or lifestyle home – the strong connection between indoor and outdoor living,” says Leon Skylakis.
