Southern Beech Honeydew - available in 250gm, 500gm and 1kg containers
Beech forests growing in the Southern Alps of New Zealand produce a wonderful rich dew that is collected by bees and turned into a delicious healthy honey high in natural antibacterials and antioxidants.
Our beech forest honeydew is harvested and processed in accordance with BioGro® New Zealand organic standards. These standards ensure the honey retains its natural healthy qualities and contains no additives or supplements.
Our beech forest honeydew has been independently laboratory tested, and has a total antibacterial rating of 20+. The particular types of antioxidants will be laboratory tested as new research by the University of Waikato’s Honey Research Unit becomes commercially available.
Our beech forest honeydew contains minimal pollen, and is not blended with other honeys. It is a pure, natural, liquid, golden honey with a rich, smooth and silky taste. It does not crystallise, and may be refrigerated.
