Ministry of Fisheries:
Developing a stakeholder relationship management plan and requirement specifications for a Stakeholder Relationship System. Stakeholders included Tangata Whenua, commercial fishers and recreational fishers.
Crown Forest Rental Trust:
Contract management of five iwi groups entering direct negotiations with the Crown for settlements totalling around $200 million. This involved facilitation, mediation, liaison with government, budgeting, working with the Waitangi Tribunal and Office of Treaty Settlements, strategic planning and advice, and managing historical and geographic information research.
Market research on Māori women, governance and multiple owned assets, business development.
Western Institute of Technology (WITT):
Managed the Institute's Government and private sector funding applications; worked with WITT's Singaporean partners on a number of off-shore training projects; assisted with the development of a multi-million dollar engineering project.
Whitireia Community Polytechnic:
Feasibility project involving the Performing Arts.
Strategic business planning and governance, facilitation.
Enterprise Coast and Kapiti Coast District Council:
Facilitation of an economic development plan and feasibility study on a sports complex.
Designed, pitched and won a multi million-dollar tender for a business information call centre project.
National Business Information Service:
Managed the government's Bizinfo project which was the business information call center.
Established and set up a new cross-cultural communication division within the agency. Claire's role was to build the competency in this area and manage any ethnic research, communication and marketing.
