All the latest sign, print and display equipment in the world can’t save you if you are overlooked.
Design is like donuts, there is a selection process involved, conscious on subliminal – we’re not psychiatrists, but we do know that while the mass produced ordinary plain old donut looks good, its the one that was lovingly created for your personal needs that you want a bite out of – and so does everybody else.
There is however a big old “But”. Design for busineses or organisations isn’t aimed at the people in the business or organisation, it’s aimed at the people the business wants to attract. Therefore lies the problem of “yes it’s your logo, but it’s not really for you”. You may like chillies on your donut, but no one else does.
