As part of a national training contract with the Ministry of Health (MOH), Seating To Go provides training for therapists wanting to become credentialled in Wheeled Mobility and Postural Management. This is subsidised by the MOH for assessors employed by MOH funded providers. Non MOH assessors and self-employed assessors may be eligible to attend workshops and should contact us with any queries.

The credentialling framework for MOH assessors a two tiered system:

Learning and development programmes

Within the Learning and Development Programmes for the Wheeled Mobility and Postural Management credentials, are requirements to attend training workshops. These are facilitated for MOH funded providers at their request. We encourage individual services requesting training workshops to consider allowing access to other service providers as numbers allow. Seating To Go also provides workshops throughout the year to ensure access to training is available to those services that do not have sufficient numbers to request an individual workshop.

The 3 training workshops for the Level 2 credential will be offered as a 5 day programme once a year. Assessors may attend any, or all, of the modules over the 5 days.

Seating To Go will be working towards developing training and mentoring options that are accessible and flexible over the next few months.
