Years of dedication and committment were rewarded for Warren and Robyn Dawson on Friday 20 November 2009 as they opened the first stage of their stunning lifestyle development to the public.  The opening of Sarona Park Drive, 12 kms up Omanawa Road in the Kaimais, heralds the end of stage one in what will eventually become 20 lifestyle blocks spread over three stages.A spectacular stone entranceway, soon to be graced with security gates, frames the beginning of the private road leading to 20 lifestyle blocks.  As Warren puts it “It’s the end of the beginning really - four years to this point and still so much to do”.  But for one night Warren and Robyn relaxed, sat back with a glass of wine and admired their efforts.  Monday is back to the tractor, paintbrush and cellphone.  No time to relax for these two hard workers.Warren and Robyn have worked the land for 25 years and so the development of their land into twenty lifestlye blocks has been a two edged sword.  Their heart and souls are in this land and so this could be no ordinary development - this had to be the best they could possibly imagine.  Years after the first vision Robyn says it’s nice to have people wanting to become part of their vision.  Three of the 6 sections in the first stage are already spoken for.As well as owning beautiful secluded properties residents of Sarona Park will also part own tennis courts, a new community pavillion & stables, stock yards and of course Sarona Park Drive. Owners also have access to over 5km of walking & horse trails leading to Omanawa River. The name Sarona Park is named after the beautiful town in Israel that Warrens grandfather was posted to in World War I.  When he returned from the war the family farm was named Sarona and the name has stuck.  Warren and Robyn can be rightly proud of their own beautiful Sarona Park.
