Rural Wireless

No.8 Core and No.8 Xtension plans are specifically designed for the needs of rural communities where ADSL broadband may not be available.

No.8 Core plans offer fast, reliable, affordable wireless broadband in locations where Rural Link has built and operates its own network. This covers the Waikato, from Raglan to Tauranga, Hamilton to Mangakino, but also extends to Hokianga and Whakatane.

No.8 Xtension is available in a range of areas nationwide. The service is transmitted from many of the highest peaks around the country, often from television towers.

While our own No.8 Core network offers the best value for money, the Xtension plans offer much wider coverage nationwide. Check out our coverage maps to see which service is available for you.

Business Fibre

Hamilton city has a fibre based network operated by Velocity Networks that spans most of the CBD and a number of outlying areas. This provides ultra-high speed broadband internet access to commercial buildings at speeds of up to 1Gbps.

No.8 Fibre offers a range of exciting broadband plans and services on the Velocity network. We already have a large number of end users now enjoying high speed broadband access through Velocity's fibre network across Hamilton.

Business Wireless

In February 2009, we launched our No.8 WiMax broadband service which provides high-speed wireless connections to Hamilton.

No.8 WiMax is designed to reach businesses within Hamilton city that are not within reach of the Velocity fibre network.

No.8 WiMax offers businesses high speed, reliable Internet access. It provides fast upload and download speeds and lets your business benefit from access to the Velocity fibre network without an actual fibre connection. Get in touch to customise a service to your business needs.
