Mountain bike, walking and horse tracks and roads, along side or near harvest areas, will be CLOSED to all users during felling, when any sections are within the Felling Danger Zone. The closures and inconvenience are unavoidable for the safety of all, but Timberlands Limited will endeavour to minimise the impact to recreational users wherever possible.

On Monday 12 March, tree felling will move from the Katore Road area to the block between Nursery, Pohaturoa and Baker’s Hollow roads in the vicinity of the Dipper, Tahi and Creek MTB tracks for a duration of approximately 1-2 weeks. Tree felling has been completed in AREA 1 (between Nursery, Radio Hutt and Pohaturoa roads) and is expected to be completed in AREA 2 (top of Katore Rd near Tokorangi Rd) on, or by 12 March.
