Consists of draughting:

- Construction details
Document detailing all aspects of construction of the building e.g. floor, framing, roof cladding, exterior cladding, risk matrix, bracing schedule etc.
Any changes to plans post building consent.
Analysis of a structure includes beam designs, fixing details and bracing to the building code. Also drawings, cross sections and specifications as required by local authority.
Client provides details of required beam, span, location etc. Premier Design provides calculations for client and local authorities.
Determination of Land Suitability
Premier Design inspects site and performs scale penetrometer and auger tests to NZS3604. Written report provided, detailing proposed foundation design or remedial action required.
Client provides two dates of the year and three times of a day, and Premier Design can provide a sun analysis showing length and angle of exterior shadows and interior light from windows and doors.
Building and Resource Consent Applications
Premier Design can apply for building and resource consents from the Local Authority. This includes any assessment of environmental effects that may be required.
Premier Design inspects site, takes levels and soil test bore in disposal field to produce a septic tank and stormwater disposal design and rain water handling calculations.
House Re-siting/Foundation Plans
Premier Design can inspect or design foundation for relocating buildings or raising above flood plane.
Premier Design can issue PS-1 and PS-4 producer statements for specifically engineered designs upon request of the local authority.
Building Warrant of Fitness
More information and request of service
