The 1st of April will see a new era for Drive Dynamics. The company will formally change its name to Power Electronics NZ Ltd. The name change is being undertaken in an effort to make it easier for customers to identify product, support and supplier.

“The change of company name to Power Electronics NZ is a logical progression and shows how close the relationship between our two businesses really is” states David Salvo, Executive Director of Power Electronics Espana, the head office and worldwide manufacturing facility for the Power Electronics products range. “Drive Dynamics have grown to become our biggest international customer. They are business partners with us in our Australian operation, Power Electronics Australia Pty Ltd. From a marketing and technical perspective this makes complete sense. Our aim is to give all our customers a seamless international offer and this takes us a step closer towards achieving that”.

David O’Donoghue, Managing Director of Power Electronics NZ, adds “This is a change that we are really excited about. Our offer to the New Zealand market is crystal clear. Our company, products, and supporting material all have a common name – It also confirms the strength of our relationship with Power Electronics Espana - they are very choosy about who they let use their company name. However, it is important to highlight that the business and structure remains completely the same. We are still 100% New Zealand owned!”
