The children enjoyed baking banana chocolate chip muffins this morning. Some children liked making paper snakes from a science book. Today outside the children took an interest in bubble blowing and making bubble pictures.

Taylor took on the role of Mr Crocodile at mat time today. The children threaded necklaces today. A small group of children acted out the 3 little pigs using the new puppets. Angus was the big bad wolf.

Our Grandparents like to…. Paint the fence Have some morning tea Dig in the sandpit Watch us at mat time Get buried in the sandpit Play with play dough Read us stories Build sand castles.

We had a fantastic Grandparents Day. Thank you to all the Grandparents that came to play. This is linked to Te Whariki Belonging Goal 1 – children and their families experience an environment where connecting links with the family and the wider world are affirmed and extended.

Lucas brought a marble run game and many children enjoyed playing it. Harrison strongly enjoyed playing the fishing game and making a fish mask. Many children watched Gary and George as they built a new fence.
