Adventure Consultants offers a choice of the following guided courses and ascents:
Mont Blanc Course and Ascent
• Learn to climb, and ascend Mont Blanc in the same week
• Enjoy the supportive instruction from our friendly IFMGA guides
Learn to climb - and complete an ascent of the highest peak in the Alps at the same time! Initial instructional days include snow and ice-craft training, followed by an ascent of another nearby mountain in preparation for the Mont Blanc summit attempt in the final days of the course. The
Mont Blanc Course and Ascent is also a good option for experienced climbers who wish to brush up on rudimentary skills, as the instructional days are also programmed to deliver vital acclimatisation during the early stages of the course.
Monte Rosa Course and Ascents
• Climb six pristine summits from alpine huts in the Swiss Alps
• Learn skills from your guide or simply enjoy the climbing
Begin your mountaineering career in the heart of the Swiss Alps by scaling several peaks in the
Monte Rosa region, or simply come here to partake in some enjoyable climbing where you can extend yourself to whatever level of difficulty you enjoy.
If this is your first time climbing, you can start with introductory lessons on the easier peaks, then move on to more challenging ascents.
Experienced climbers can immediately lock into ascents of the series of summits that are all in close proximity to the alpine hut system. Should you want to push your limits, your guide will be happy to help you develop new skills.
Gran Paradiso Course and Ascent
• Learn climbing skills suitable for alpine climbing on this course
• Follow training with an ascent of Gran Paradiso, highest peak entirely in Italy
Learn introductory skills for mountaineering, and then consolidate your skills on a training climb followed by an ascent of Gran Paradiso.
On day one you will embark on a scenic trek to the alpine hut. Days two and three will focus on introductory skills for mountaineering while doing training climbs on nearby peaks. You will rise early on day four and climb to the summit of Gran Paradiso where you can take in the amazing views across to the Mt Blanc Massif before your return to Chamonix that afternoon. Perfect!
