African Art Online — Lines of BeautyGiclee on Canvas

By: African Art Online  06-Dec-2011

This an abstract composition of colorful butterfly expressing beauty of God’s creation lines of beauty

We all have cherished goals in life;
sometimes different approaches to the targets of
our minds.
It is said that beauty is in the eye of
the beholder and it couldn’t be less than the truth;
because all things are uniquely created
for their beauty and purposes.

In great lines of the Butterfly I marveled
at the hands of the creator.
I have seen beauty in different shapes,
sizes, colors and ages;
but, I have not seen two kinds that are the same.
Butterfly, butterfly, in you lays, the great lines
of beauty that takes my breath away.

In the great wall of all creations, lays the reflection
of beauty.
Open your eyes and see beyond surface forms,
look into the forms and see beyond grains of obstacles,
even in ugliness rests a chunk of beauty.
In butterfly, I saw the gentle and rough walk of creation
on the beauty runway.
You rode on the bike of an ugly colorless worm to a
mural of colors, forms and lines.
You have re-enforced the beauty of no permanent
conditions.
Gracefully and diligently you displayed your beauty
to adorn our environments.
Harmlessly and stylishly you fly into our messed air
to romance the flowers of the earth for the beauty of
tomorrow.

I have seen your breath taking colors and lines against
the blue skies to give thanks.
I have seen your great gentle flying stroke that reminds
me of the graceful ballet dancers and African drum dancers
in “babanriga” dresses in the colourful stages of life.
