We use the highest quality graded 1mm (maximum diameter) texture aggregates sourced locally in New Zealand, the product is very creamy and easily applied for that perfect texture finsih.

Supercoat Acrylic 2mm Texture

Supercoat 2mm Texture is a 100% Acrylic Thixotropic paste with graded aggregate for use over Supercoat base coats. We use the highest quality graded 2mm (maximum diameter) texture aggregates sourced locally in New Zealand, the product is very creamy and easily applied for that perfect texture finsih.

Supercoat Superadobe Render

Superadobe is a graded fine sand, aggregate, grey cement, lime and additives, dry mixed top coat product designed to achieve an adobe finish. Superadobe is designed as a textural finishing coat, to provide an undulating Adobe Texture Finish over cement based Leveling and/or intermediate coats. Superadobe can achieve low-medium defined undulations.

Minimum applied thickness – 3mm/per coat

Maximum applied thickness – 8mm/per coat

Application Method:

Mix Material to achieve a workable consistency.

Apply Superadobe to a wall area covering around 1-2m² at a time.

Using a square or round nosed trowel create either a light, moderate or heavy undulating Adobe Pattern.

Proceed to move your way across the wall area, checking the drying of the previous work at 5 minute intervals.

Once satisfied that the Superadobe has set enough to sponge, dip the sponge and/or sponge/float in clean water, wring out the majority of water and using a light sweeping motion, sponge the wall area working in the same or similar sequence to which the plaster was applied.

Superadobe must be applied over an existing base or intermediate coat render. Superadobe is not designed to be applied directly to a construction substrate.

Superadobe is to be applied over Superbuild Render, Superskim Render or Superbase Render as a texture coat.

Always work out of direct sun light. Superadobe must not be exposed to direct sunlight for a minimum of 12 hours.

Superadobe must be allowed a minimum of 7 Days to cure prior to coating with Supercoat Paint.

Application below the recommended 3mm minimum may result in degradation of the material due to loss of hydration.

Supercoat Supersponge Render

Supersponge is a graded calcium sand, Portland cement, white cement high grade lime supplement and additive, dry mixed product for use over Superbuild Render, Superbase Render and Superskim Render.

Minimum applied thickness – 1mm/per coat

Maximum applied thickness – 3mm/per coat

Application Method:

Working in a limited area applying 2-5m² at a time, trowel the Supersponge tight to the wall. Ensure that the thickness of application is no more than the thickness of the aggregate in the material.

Pull any additional ‘fat’ off the material and using a circular motion float the material using a hard plastic float. The Supersponge 1mm texture can be completed using the plastic float or alternatively a sponge may be applied lightly over the surface to enhance the finished texture.

It is advised that if working in high heat or over a hot substrate the wall should be wet down prior to application to extend the workable wall time of the material.

Supersponge can be applied in 2 coats providing a period of 12-24 hours is left between coats.

Supersponge is not designed to be applied directly to a construction substrate.

Supercoat Coating Systems - Paint Finish

It's expecially good if you have to camouflage small wall bumps, cracks, or other imperfections as this finish does not reflect light. This is particularly suitable for the walls in the kids room, kitchens or bathrooms, or in areas which get a lot of traffic. With only a slight hint of shine or gloss, it's good for walls and holds up better with cleaning than a Flat finish paint.
