Mike Killick (MBA, BE.Mech (Hons), M.MESNZ, M Inst D) is the Director / Co-owner at OpEx Services Ltd and is one of New Zealand's leading Asset Management experts. Mike has a Masters of Business Administration, an Engineering Degree, is the Chair of the Maintenance Engineering Society of New Zealand and a Member of the Institute of Directors. Mike has consulted to many leading industrial and manufacturing organisations within New Zealand and Australia.

Alex Hopkins (MBA, NZCE.Elect, NZCE.ComTech, M.MESNZ) is the Director / Co-owner at OpEx Services Ltd and is a proven leading Maintenance Manager within New Zealand. Alex has a strong and credible background in applied maintenance management having held senior management positions at Anchor Products and Carter Holt Harvey Ltd. Through this experience and knowledge, Alex is well positioned to develop and implement the necessary business policies and processes to assist in Creating Operational Excellence.

Gary Thomas (NZATC, M.MESNZ) is the Maintenance Services Co-ordinator at OpEx Services Ltd. Gary has excellent operational and maintenance experience in maintenance planning, facility and equipment shutdowns, asset management and CMMS development. Gary's practical knowledge in these areas is complimented with his understanding of maintenance best practice methodologies and how these can be practically applied within the industrial and manufacturing sector.

Andrew Woolley (MEM, BE.Mech (Hons)) is a Maintenance Analyst at OpEx Management Ltd and specialises in the area of business centred asset management within the industrial and manufacturing sectors. In this role, Andrew is involved in the review, development and implementation of asset management programmes that are focussed on improving the overall performance of the operational assets. Having a Masters of Engineering Management and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree, Andrew’s detailed design background and his focus and attention on business management processes, will further ensure that our client's assets are operating at their optimal performance through the implementation of
“customised” best practice asset management programmes.

Mayank Katira (MEM, BE.Prod, Dip.Prod Eng.) is a Maintenance Analyst at OpEx Management Ltd and specialises in the area of business analysis systems and maintenance analysis within the industrial and manufacturing sectors. In this role, Mayank acts as the lead implementer and on-going support service provider for information management systems along with the undertaking Maintenance Effectiveness Reviews and providing implementation support activities for Maintenance Improvement Projects. Having a Masters of Engineering Management and a Bachelor of Production Engineering degree, Mayank’s operational skills and experience, together with an attention to detail, will further ensure that our client's assets are
operating at their optimal performance through the implementation of
“customised” best practice asset management programmes.

Michael (Mick) Bates (NC Mech Eng, NVQ Mech Eng, NEBOSH) is a Maintenance Co-ordinator at OpEx Services Ltd. Mick has an excellent understanding of all maintenance management requirements of industrial and manufacturing facilities having been directly involved in all elements of maintenance management. Having strong leadership and communication skills, when this is combined with his practical engineering knowledge in engineering and maintenance, Mick is ideally suited to assist our client’s develop and implement maintenance programmes that are focussed on “maintaining operational excellence” within there business operation.

Henrico Van Niekerk (BE.Mech, BSC IT) is a Maintenance Analyst at OpEx Services Ltd. Henrico has an applied maintenance engineering background having worked in the roles of Reliability Engineer, Process Engineer and Engineering Specialist within the industrial and manufacturing sectors of New Zealand and South Africa. Having strong analytical / information systems, research / design and project management experience, Henrico is ideally suited to assist our client’s review the current performance of their operational assets and then work with them to determine the most appropriate solution for resolving any known issues.

Rob Payne (OND Mech Eng, Cert Eng Mgt) is the Maintenance Planner / Maintenance Technician – Mechanical at OpEx Services Ltd. Rob has a diverse range of skills from within the industrial and manufacturing sectors having been a Marine Engineer through to a Maintenance Manager with good experience in project management and operational management. Having worked in a number of industries, Rob has an excellent understanding of the importance and need for good management systems and processes in order to be able to develop, implement and then manage a successful maintenance reliability programme.

Barry Mckenzie (NZATC, Dip T) is the Team Leader – Mechanical at OpEx Services Ltd. Through his industry experience, Barry has gained extensive top level mechanical and workshop maintenance and engineering knowledge and experience. To further enhance his skills and knowledge in professional maintenance services, Barry has gained his electrical EST qualifications and also holds a Diploma in Education. Being a good communicator and listener with a sound engineering background who is always ready for a new challenge, Barry leads the day-to-day mechanical maintenance team at OpEx Services.
