Supporters and clients of Montrose Access have been offered a five per cent discount on the best available online rates Oaks Hotels & Resorts offer via a specially designed web link exclusive to MontroseAccess.
Furthermore, the national company has also committed their ongoing support as a major donor to the charity.
Money raised will assist MontroseAccess in continuing to provide services such as therapy, recreation, and respite to families across regional Queensland, including to those on the Sunshine Coast. These services provide much-needed medical care for the children and vital support for their carers and families.
MontroseAccess CEO Darrel Bourke was overwhelmed with Oaks Hotels & Resorts offer and said the money will assist the local organisation in making up a $1.4 million government funding shortfall in order to continue to assist their young clients and families.
“Our regional branches across the state are improving the quality of life for children living with physical disabilities, including neuromuscular conditions, juvenile arthritis, acquired brain injury and arthrogryposis,” Darryl said.
“Sadly, the number of children we support is increasing every year and this partnership and contribution will go a long way to ensure we can continue providing these valuable services.
“All donations made from Oaks Hotels & Resorts will assist in helping to ensure the region’s children and young adults with physical disabilities have a chance to live a quality life, something we are all have a right to.”
Oaks Hotels & Resorts Business Development Manager Brooke McCall said the team were proud to support such a worthwhile Queensland based charity.
“We are proud to not only continue but also increase our support of such a worthwhile charity like MontroseAccess. The assistance we are offering clients and families of MontroseAccess will ensure they can look forward to some respite, but also the chance to have a holiday when they need it and a quality place to stay when they visit Brisbane for treatments or ongoing care,” Ms McCall said.
“As a Queensland-founded company ourselves, we are pleased to be able to offer our support and proud to be aligned with such a respected Queensland charity.”
