2000 Series The 2000L series is an extremely versatile and affordable laser system. Available in standard sizes up to 80” X 240”, it is able to raster engrave and vector cut in one CNC process, making it perfect for cutting a wide variety of materials including plastic, wood and light gauge ferrous metals. When machining acrylic, the laser both cuts and polishes the edge in the same pass eliminating secondary operations and saving valuable production time. And when equipped with a 400 or 600 watt laser and the optional capacitive height cutting head, the 2000L does a beautiful job of cutting light to medium gauge stainless and mild steel. Engraving and decorative images can also be applied to a wide variety of materials using the standard raster engraving module. Single-ply phenolic and composite materials are hard to cut with conventional knife technologies EZ Knife offers an ultrasonic option to challenge these tough applications. EZ Knife can assist this process by creasing, perforating and cuttting corrugated and other cardboard materials, for sample making and short-run packing.
