Fresh Oyster Mushrooms

Fresh Oyster Mushrooms are sweet tasting and versatile. Oyster Mushrooms have a subtle flavour and a soft texture.

The delicate flavour is excellent with all types of meat, seafood and great with pasta dishes.

Dried Oyster Mushrooms

Dried Oyster Mushrooms are very versatile as they have a great shelf life and can be used as a dried product in casseroles, quiche and omelet added at the beginning of cooking.

They can also be rehydrated in boiling water for ten minutes and added to any exciting dish, which calls for mushrooms.



Smoked Dried Oyster Mushrooms

Smoked Dried Oyster Mushrooms have a unique flavour, combining the subtle flavour of the Oyster mushroom with the mild flavour on Manuka Smoke.

The Smoked Dried Oyster Mushrooms can be rehydrated in boiling water for ten minutes and added to all recipes for a great taste.



Oyster Mushroom Powder

Oyster Mushroom Powder is a 100% Oyster Mushroom Concentrate. The mushrooms are carefully aged to intensify the flavour before being dried and crushed. There are no additives or preservatives.

Used in cooking of all types it adds a fantastic flavour. Mix with water or olive oil to make a paste and use as a rub for all types of meats.

A great favourite of many is the Mushroom Dip. Simply mix 2-3 teaspoons of mushroom powder with 250 grams Country Goodness Lite Spreadable Cream Cheese, leave in the fridge for one hour and you have a great accompaniment for plain crackers or plain chips.

Smoked Oyster Mushroom Powder

Smoked Oyster Mushroom Powder is a 100% concentrate. The mushrooms are cold smoked with New Zealand Native Manuka, and then dried and crushed. There are no additives or preservatives.

Used in cooking of all types it adds a unique flavour combining the subtle flavour of the mushroom with the mild taste of Manuka smoke.


 

Initially Oyster Mushrooms were cultivated in Asia. There are many different varieties of the exotic Oyster Mushroom which can be found throughout the world. The fluted, graceful oyster shell shape have a delicate, subtle flavour.

The Oyster Mushroom is a fleshy, gilled mushroom grown in climate controlled rooms, in grow logs filled with straw.
