Our trucks – our fleet consists of specially lined, well-maintained pantechnicons, in a range of sizes to accommodate the job on hand. All trucks are supplied with furniture pads for wrapping furniture and freight, and furniture ties for the safe securing of your possessions during transit.
Our staff – any company is only as good as its people and we are proud of our drivers and off-siders, and confident in their ability to carry out their work to a high standard. Our drivers and driver supplements are all suitably experienced. We frequently receive phone calls and letters extolling their good service and effort, and we ensure that they are rewarded specially for this.
Local removals – these are usually done on an hourly rate, although we will do a free, no-obligation appraisal so that we can advise you of our assessment of what will be involved time-wise. Obviously the more organised you are on the day, the cheaper it is for you. We have found that this pricing option suits customers the most as they can then be more flexible in what they get done themselves before and/or on the day of removal.
Storage – we have storage facilities in Auckland, Porirua and Christchurch. These are all fully burglar- and smoke- alarmed and monitored 24/7 by a security company. Your furniture and personal effects will be stacked away into fixed storage bays within the building. These are available in various sizes but you only pay for the amount of the space that your possessions take up, not the whole storage bay – we don’t charge you for more space than what you actually need. Inventories can also be done by arrangement. Storage is available from as little as a few days up to many years. All facilities have a regular pest-control monitoring programme in place as well.
Insurance – we can offer a comprehensive and competitive insurance cover for both transit and storage. We can also offer insurance extensions for electrical and mechanical derangement, and antiques.
Inter-island service – we regularly cross several times a week.
Labour – just want one large item (or maybe a few) moved within your house or out into the garage but don’t know anyone strong enough or willing to do it for you? We can supply strong men on an hourly rate to assist you with this.
Commercial freight service – all of our clients in this area have come to us through word-of-mouth referrals - the best advertising that one can have, and one that just can’t be bought. Contact us for a customised rate schedule for the careful transportation of your product around New Zealand.
MAF/Customs – all of our depots are Transitional Facilities and we have MAF-accredited staff at each location. This enables us to receive inbound containers and process for MAF and Customs. For Customs we are also able to receive “Under Bond” shipments. We can also assist with Customs and quarantine clearances on personal effects. We can then facilitate delivery to residence.
Pet transportation – we can put you in touch with a reliable, nationwide pet transport company.
Car relocation – we can arrange transportation of your car as well as your household, using a reliable specialist in this field.
