AUCKLAND, 3 OCTOBER 2011 – New Zealanders have the rare opportunity on Thursday 6th October to participate in a live online video conference with Cosmonaut Dmitry Kondratyev. He'll be giving a presentation about his time aboard the space station, and taking questions from members of the public.

AUCKLAND, 31 AUGUST 2011 – Space enthusiasts across the country are encouraged to get involved in United Nations’ World Space Week, from 4 to 10 October this year.

AUCKLAND, NZ, 11 APRIL 2011 – KiwiSpace Foundation has successfully launched a helium balloon above the Waikato and recovered its payload of cameras, tracking equipment and breathtaking images from the edge of space. While the MetService launches meteorological balloons regularly, KiwiSpace believes this is the first balloon launched with the goal of capturing images of New Zealand and space from very high altitudes.
