Nothing represents the evolution of iRULE product performance through customer and elite athlete input more than these superb winter strides. Lightweight, warm, durable, practical – they reflect the collective wisdom of our designer and the iRULE Test Pilot customer feedback network. Product improvement comes from direct, ongoing involvement with customers and athletes – it’s the iRULE way.
Fashioned from soft, warm, multi-stretch Supplex from Du Pont with its characteristic against the skin comfort; breathability and wickability. All construction is done using flat seams to reduce any pressure points from extended endurance hit outs including expedition events.
You will be hard pressed to find strides with such a tremendous freedom of movement with its Bio-Move knees. Nothing comes close for on-board storage with the practical and stylish Tri-Stash pocket system – 2 hefty ergoomically designed thigh pockets and the stealthy, sub-hip line zipped secure pocket at the rear.
Athlete safety is foremost with reflective piping around the long, angled easy access ankle zips and the rear pocket.
Wide, forgiving adjustable waistband enhances the excellent fit in motion qualities of the Whistlers.
You can swap out the standard AR nanochamois and opt for the lightweight, seamless MTB enduro chamois if your main use for these is riding.
“Overall Whistlers are great leggings and after 13 years climbing and 5 years adventure racing they have been the best tights I have used so far. The material is great and the cut is perfect.
I think iRULE could be onto another winner here.”
— Paul McArthur (Eire)
“The Whistlers have been absolutely great. I can get in and out of them like a slippery eel. The length is perfect, they don’t sag in the crotch or drop on the knees. The fabric is great – warm enough to keep your bits warm and legs working from +5 down to -10 degrees. Good wicking and cool enough not to make me clammy in
the springtime, and none of that restrictive feeling on the back of the
knees. Three pockets is great – two front ones for gels, and one back one for cash
and keys. The Whistlers RULE!”
— Christopher Taylor UK
“The Whistlers are the best bit of kit I have tried in a while. I have never felt so comfortable riding and running in any other brand of tights full stop. They really are the third bears porridge!
— Adrian Keough (Aust)
“Just to let you know that even after two seasons they are going strong, with only minimal bobbling on the fabric from climbing harness, and none on the inside legs. Where others have disintegrated after a more than one season, the whistlers have kept strong. Whether this is a good thing for your sales, I’m not sure, but it’s testament to the quality of fabrics and construction. The WHISTLERS are not only superb they are durable.”
— Chris Taylor (UK)
“The ducks guts for winter riding in Tasmania. Have found these to be extremely comfortable on the long rides through some pretty cold mornings. The chamois is particularly comfortable and the pockets are well located and just the right size for gels etc. that added bit of reflective tape is also worth its weight in gold, just cant have enough of that in winter riding. Great product.”
