 A core part of our business is land subdivision work, which can be broadly broken down into five categories – urban, lifestyle, rural, rural farm parks and eco-subdivision.

The work varies from simple two-lot ‘infill’ subdivision in existing urban areas to large multi-lot subdivisions with many complex issues to resolve. Large urban developments using vacant land are often referred to as ‘greenfield’ subdivisions.

Every subdivision is unique and has particular issues to address. In urban areas it may be the provision of easements to protect services, or confirming that the allotments are of adequate size and shape. In the rural environment there may be significant landscape issues or investigations needed to confirm slope stability.
