Kaskade Europen Juggling Magazine.
This bi-linguual (English and German) magazine is essential reading for the juggling and circus community. The magazine is described as:
Kaskade is a forum where jugglers and physical artists of all kinds, both amateur and professional, can exchange views and experiences. Its pages are open to all contributions.
The following text appeared in the editorial of Kaskade No. 1, back in September 1984. It describes our basic idea, and - thanks to the help of many, many jugglers - we have been able to stay faithful to it.
"What we want to create is a magazine for all jugglers in Europe, from beginners to pros. .. We want to run stories on juggling groups and individual jugglers - how they got into it, what they get out of it, their ideas and their dreams.. We'd like to hear about performing experiences in Europe, we'd like to print anecdotes of life "on the road".
We'd also like to have regular features such as: prop-making; linguistic tips (for tours abroad); related arts; practical tips; a "what's on" section and small ads.
