Cumulus offers multi-skilled specialists who assist our clients to efficiently and cost-effectively plan, build, manage, and optimise Data Centre and Server Room infrastructure
. We provide all of the required skills for technology environment design and architecture, engineering and building services, construction project management and tender evaluation and contract management
Our design solutions and services have been tested and refined through many successful engagements with both Government and Corporate businesses in Australia and New Zealand. With our extensive knowledge of the local and trans-Tasman suppliers we are able to leverage high quality, timely delivery and cost effective solutions from all the contributing parties.
To develop, design, build, and commission solutions for a Server Room or Data centre, Cumulus experts provide a fiscally feasible and modular approach, backed by a strategic plan that weighs the various options and provides the customer with a roadmap for the best alternatives. These alternatives involve options that not only make the most sense, but that also allow proper timing for the services. Cumulus use a formal project management approach that minimises risk with respect to scope, budgets and schedules whilst maximising a customer's ability to remain flexible as technology and business grow.
For each project, Cumulus assigns a dedicated, specialist project manager who is responsible for every aspect of the Data Centre, from initial requirements study to post-implementation audits. The Project Manager becomes the single point of contact for all issues around the Data Centre, including your contracted suppliers and subcontractors.
Our approach has repeatedly improved project success rates, decreased the risks involved, reduced schedule delays and limited budget overruns. In addition to the usual project management tasks of reporting, tracking and assuring that the projects are executed in an appropriate, accurate and consistent way, the project manager will oversee the cross-functional activities taking place among various vendors and parts of your organisation.
