Aloe Vera Liquid

Used since biblical times for skin and hair problems – excellent for dry hair, itchy scalp, brittle hair and scalp disorders. Suits all skin and hair types. Cocoa Butter

A solid fat from the roasted seed of the Cacoa plant. It leaves a silky, softening and very lubricating effect on the skin. Good for scars and stretch marks. It is high in vitamin E. Has a melting point of 33-35 degrees Celsius. Use a double boiler and melt very gently. Useful for all skin types, body butters, creams, lotions, masks, soaps, shampoos and conditioners. $6.95 per 100gm

Mango Butter

Cold pressed from the seed kernels of mangos, it is highly prized for its ease of skin absorption. Being highly emollient and very moisturising it helps to restore flexibility and reduce degeneration of skin cells, high in essential fatty acids and melts at skin temperature. Rich and luxurious for use in body butters, lip balms, skin creams and lotions. Is beautiful in soaps. $10.95 per 100gm

Shea Nut Butter

Soft ivory butter obtained from the shea nut kernel. A rich creamy and extremely moisturising butter that is very gentle on the skin. It soothes and helps reduce skin irritation, revitalizes dryness and protects the skin from harsh weather conditions. Is helpful for eczema, dermatitis and burns etc. Contains allantoin, vitamin A, cinnamic esters and is naturally high in phytosterols, making it beneficial as an anti-inflammatory. Beautiful to use in creams, lotions, eye balms, lip balms, body butters and soaps. $10.95 per 100gm

A beautiful group of clays, mined in France and then sun dried as opposed to water cleaned. This is important as the Clay then retains ALL of its natural trace elements and minerals etc. These gentle clays will draw dirt and impurities from the skins pores, soothing and softening the skin, whilst also increasing the circulation and flow of oxygen to the skin. They are used topically on the face and body in the form of a mask mixed with water, Aloe Vera, hydrosols, yogurt, honey or herb tea. Mix to a paste with chosen liquid, apply thickly to face, neck and/or body and then leave to dry. Rinse off with water for a silky beautiful skin. Use clays weekly for best results. May also be used in talcums, deodorants, foot powders, soaps and hair care products.

Green Clay

Green clay is used to help repair damaged skin, it has a strong exfoliating, purifying and toning effect at a cellular level. Suitable for all skin types but more specifically for oily and blemished skin.

Red Clay

Red clay is high in iron oxide and is most suitable for post-acne, mature, dehydrated, tired and stressed skin. May be used for refining skin texture and calming inflammation. Has a higher oil content than the other coloured clays. May also be used as a natural colour in lip balms and when buffing nails.

White Clay

White clay is rich in magnesium, stops perspiration and can be used as a lotion for eczema and sensitive skins. Excellent as a replacement for talcum powder and is ideal for skin rashes. May be used as a dry shampoo, as a foot talc for foot odour or as a base for deodorant.

Pink Clay

Pink clay refines the texture, improves softness of the skin and has a tonic and firming effect on the epidermis. Is mainly used for dehydrated and sensitive skin. Ideal as a body wrap as it helps to firm the bust, thighs, upper stomach and upper arms.

Yellow Clay

Yellow clay absorbs impurities and toxins from the skin. It has a high iron content, is suitable for most skin types especially for sun damaged or fatigued skins.

Unrefined honey scented pellets of pure Beeswax. Used extensively for thickening oils into ointments, soaps and candles etc. Melted gently and mixed with oils it forms soothing and healing ointments high in vitamins and minerals. It helps to prevent skin dehydration and creates a protective cover on the skin’s surface. $6.95 per 100gm

Macadamia Wax

This hard white wax is the vegan alternative to Beeswax and is not heavy in a formula like Beeswax can be. It is smooth and non clogging when used in creams, lotions and soaps. Is wonderful in lip balms. Recipes may need to be recalculated but use approximately ¼ of the Beeswax ratio. $7.95 per 100gm

Cup raw sugar• ½ Cup white sugar• 2 Tablespoons freshly ground coffee• 1 Teaspoon Vegetable Glycerine• 1.5 – 2.5 Tablespoons Jojoba oil• 10 – 12 Drops Roasted Coffee pure essential oil. The quantity of Jojoba oil used may vary – it is important that the mixture does not sit in oil, or that it floats on top of the granules. Add Vegetable Glycerine and part of the Jojoba oil, combining slowly, adding little at a time.
