Clontech:Genomic DNA

By: Clontech  06-Dec-2011

High-quality genomic DNA is isolated from the whole blood of disease free sources, that contain no glycogen, to obtain highly pure, intact genomic DNA. The sources of whole blood for the Human Genomic DNA have tested negative for HIV antibodies and Hepatitis B surface antigen.

Genomic DNA is isolated by the method of Blin and Stafford (1). This DNA is suitable for Southern hybridization analysis and genomic library construction.

Clontech:GenomeWalker Kits

GenomeWalker Kits provide a simple, PCR-based method for walking upstream or downstream in genomic DNA from a known sequence, such as an expressed sequence tag. You must provide the set of gene-specific primers and a mix of thermostable DNA polymerases suitable for long-distance PCR. The GenomeWalker Universal Kit allows you to construct GenomeWalker libraries from the genome of any species.

Clontech:Multiple Tissue cDNA Panels

For rapid screening of gene expression under different apoptotic conditions we provide an MCF7 Apoptosis cDNA Panel, consisting of first-strand cDNA samples synthesized from the total RNA of cells treated with various apoptosis-inducing agents. They offer fast and accurate PCR analysis of gene expression across multiple tissues in a fraction of the time required for Northern or dot blot analysis.
